Wild Wild West was made in 1999; Kyle copper designed and presented the opening credits to the film. Opening credits to this film are presented in a unique way compared to other films in that era.
The first thing we see when watching the opening sequence is a dark background mixed with a light brown background highlighting a old man holding a large piece of metal shaped like a  angle grinder blade. You then see a number of short action clips with the same black and light brown theme highlighting the action. We can already make out the genre of the film from both the title and the action clips seen in the opening (Old Western). This is very helpful for the audience because they can get an idea of the film before it even starts. You can also see a number of technologies not usually associated with old western films. The audience can see that the film is not your typical western film.  This is effective because the audience become interested in the style of the western because it is unusual and they want to see what the film is really about.

The music of the opening credits is very fast western music; the music comes across very exciting, and dramatic, that anything could happen at any moment. This keeps the audience on the edge  of their seats.
